Why the Support is Provided?

The Building Productivity Program promotes the uptake of ICT solutions in established industry sectors.

What Support is Provided?

Queensland is at the forefront of ICT uptake in established industries like mining, retail and agribusiness.

Queensland ICT companies have developed niche capabilities in many of these markets and are looking for further opportunities to promote their solutions to industry.

The Building Productivity Program is a suite of new initiatives that will maximise opportunities for innovative local ICT firms in national markets.

Benefits to local ICT businesses will come primarily from the opportunity to access a bigger pool of potential clients, delivering:

• increase knowledge about local non-ICT markets and develop economies of scale;

• opportunities to undertake joint promotional activities, decreasing costs and

  increasing exposure in national markets;

• opportunities to expand business activities into new markets;

• obtain target market feedback as to the appropriate direction of the firm’s

  research and development activities;

• potential for increased sales into national markets.

Resources will be dedicated to support a Queensland presence at specialised and high profile events in target markets.

The Following Eligibility Criteria Apply:
