Why the Support is Provided?
This service is provided to promote coordinated quality marketing and advertising presentation of Queensland tourism products and to encourage you, as a tourism operator, to plan and target market your tourism advertising and marketing programs.
What Support is Provided?
Tourism Queensland's Cooperative Advertising Program offers you special Tourism Queensland rates, extensive and targeted market exposure in newspaper, digital, television and magazine media, supported further by editorial features and general media promotion of Queensland tourism arranged by Tourism Queensland.
Tourism Queensland can coordinate and approve media choice, budget, target areas and markets and advertising time frames. Tourism Queensland can produce a media schedule specifically for a specific destination, promoting the destination and the product.
Tourism Queensland can also assist with your advertising by preparing newspaper, digital and magazine material or producing a cooperative television commercial.
The Following Eligibility Criteria Apply:
As an advertiser you must meet the Tourism Queensland's Destination Cooperative Advertising criteria and:
• Be a Regional Tourist Authority member;
• Be a subscriber to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW);
• Have product, infrastructure and distribution established;
• Promote domestic leisure products.
Important Information:
Tourism Queensland can provide you with advertising and marketing opportunities, advice and market research on domestic and international markets.
What Costs are Involved?
Co-operative media funds for newspaper, digital, magazines and television:
Preparation of newspaper and magazine material can be arranged for you by Tourism Queensland for a predetermined rate. Special production rates for television commercials.
