Administering Agency

Trade Queensland

Why the Support is Provided?

The New Exporter Development Program (NEDP) delivers a range of initiatives to identify and develop Queensland’s potential exporters and assist them to become sustainable exporters.

The NEDP aims to enhance market access through the provision of products and services to support Queensland exporters.

The NEDP is jointly delivered with Austrade, the Australian Government’s export development agency.

What Support is Provided?

You can access a series of linked programs that NEDP provides that will support your business from the stage of developing an interest in exporting through to becoming an exporter.

Trade Queensland can offer your business a package of services designed to assist you, as a small or medium sized company, to develop your business overseas and make your first export sale.

These services include:

• Getting Export Smart

This introductory seminar and 4-part workshop series is a practical hands-on export training program which is facilitated by experienced international business advisers from government and industry.

• Export Master Class

The Export Master Class provides specialised expertise to Queensland exporters and targets established exporters or exporters who have already had export experience and/or completed introductory level export skills workshops provided by the Department.

• Mentoring for Export

Your firm can receive tailored advice on the strategic issues that arise when pursuing international business opportunities.

• Virtual Trade Missions

Virtual Trade Missions employ the latest videoconferencing and web streaming telecommunications technology to put buyers and sellers “virtually” in the same room.
